On the other hand, it was observed that the annual compound yield rate in high-yield savings accounts rose up to the level of 4,15%.
On the commodity side, announced economic data continues to affect pricing. Following the decline in the retail sales report, an upward movement was recorded in gold prices. Silver prices also showed a limited rise under the influence of weakening economic data, while the uncertain outlook for the industrial side maintains its presence.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin and Ethereum prices started the week with slight declines. While analysts discuss the timing regarding the bottom of the bear market, company shares fell 4% after Trump Media abandoned its Bitcoin treasury strategy. In the same period, a 4% increase occurred in Rumble shares.
In sectoral developments, technology and healthcare stand out. Synchrony, the credit card provider for Amazon and Walmart, collaborated with OpenAI to offer shopping opportunities via ChatGPT. Synchrony Head of Strategy Maran Nalluswami reported that full integration of payments into ChatGPT will take approximately 6 to 12 months. In the pharmaceutical sector, Eli Lilly's weight loss pill won the first phase in Europe, while Novo Nordisk maintains its advantageous position in the market.
