This article is an interview. The opinions below belong to professional trader Nilüfer Altundağ from FXPARTNER; it is not a review verifiable by license number like the broker pages on the site. The information provided regarding LiteFinance's account conditions is based on the broker's current statements on its own ECN account page — confirm on that page before opening an account, as conditions may vary by country and period.
There is a question everyone trading in the forex market asks themselves at some point: which broker is suitable for my trading style? Especially for traders who engage in short-term trading, use scalping strategies, and want to keep costs low, spread, order execution quality, and trading conditions become much more decisive.
What should a trader look for first when choosing a broker?
There is no single criterion for me. Spread, transaction costs, order execution, platform, liquidity, restrictions on strategies, and money management — you need to look at all of these together.
But for a trader who does scalping, spread is much more important. Because in the scalping logic, trades are sometimes taken from very small price movements; therefore, the transaction cost directly affects the overall performance of the strategy.
One of the points that caught my attention on the LiteFinance side is the low floating spread structure in ECN accounts. On the broker's own ECN page, it is stated that spreads can start from 0.0 points and that a commission per lot is also applied.
Why does LiteFinance attract the interest of traders doing scalping in particular?
Because the needs of a trader who does scalping are different. When I open a trade, I am not in the mindset of "I must hold this position for a few hours." Sometimes I close it in a few minutes, sometimes I wait longer depending on the opportunity given by the market.
What matters to me here is that my strategy is not unnecessarily restricted by the broker. It is stated that scalping and news trading are allowed in LiteFinance's ECN account, and trades can be kept open for an unlimited time. This is a form of freedom; because the trade duration should be determined by the strategy itself.
What exactly does "unlimited trade duration" mean?
It means that a position opened by a trader is not subjected to a time restriction by the broker simply because it was opened and closed in a short period of time.
For someone who does scalping, a trade sometimes lasts 30 seconds, sometimes 3 minutes, sometimes 15 minutes. Another trader can hold the same position for a few hours. What matters is that the strategy makes the decision — not the broker's rule.
Why is spread so important?
Because spread is one of the trader's transaction costs. For a scalper who opens and closes a large number of positions during the day, this cost makes a significant difference over time.
That is why I tell traders who do scalping not to just ask, "What is the spread?" Look at these together:
- –How is the spread structure — fixed or floating?
- –Is there a commission, and if so, how much per lot?
- –How is order execution?
- –Is your trading strategy supported?
- –How do trading conditions change during news hours?
- –Can you hold the position for as long as you want?
Is only scalping done with LiteFinance?
No, and this is important. You shouldn't evaluate a broker based on a single strategy. In the market, there is scalping, day trading, swing trading, and longer-term approaches.
The point I highlight regarding LiteFinance is that the ECN infrastructure appeals to traders who want low spreads. Today you do scalping, tomorrow you do intraday trading, and in another period you switch to a swing strategy. What matters is that the account you choose suits your current trading style.
Is a "0.0 spread" really zero cost?
No, and there is an important distinction here. On LiteFinance's ECN page, it is stated that the floating spread can start from 0.0 points; but on the same page, it also states that a commission per lot is applied.
A "0.0 spread" does not mean the trade is free. In ECN accounts, you have to take commission into account along with the spread.
I always recommend traders look at the total cost: spread + commission + potential slippage. Saying "spread is zero" without making this calculation would not be an accurate assessment.
Can a beginner trader do scalping on LiteFinance?
They can, but I do not recommend a beginner to do scalping directly with real money. Scalping requires fast decision-making, and price movements in lower timeframes are much noisier.
Test the strategy on a demo account first. It is stated that LiteFinance's demo ECN account offers prices close to real market conditions, market execution, and scalping support.
First test the system, then start with small volumes, then measure your performance. Increase the volume only when you see that you are truly disciplined.
Where does FXPARTNER come into play here?
We do not want to just tell traders "use this broker". Our goal is for the trader to understand why they chose that broker and that account type.
On the LiteFinance side, we offer an exclusive 20% bonus advantage to traders proceeding via FXPARTNER. But I would particularly like to note that bonuses may depend on account type, country, and seasonal campaign conditions — check the current terms on LiteFinance before registering and depositing.
Is a low spread important, or a bonus?
Definitely not just the bonus alone. A bonus does not mean "risk-free profit"; risk is always present in forex and CFD trading.
As a trader, I look at the trading conditions first. For someone who does scalping, low spreads and trading costs are much more decisive. I consider the bonus as an added advantage on top of that.
The order is clear to me: first infrastructure, then trading conditions, then costs. The bonus comes last.
If you were to summarize your LiteFinance experience in a single sentence?
"If you are looking for a broker alternative that does not interfere with the trader's strategy, offers low spread-focused ECN conditions and freedom to scalp, LiteFinance should be on your review list."
As someone who knows how important low spreads are for short-term traders, this is why I find the ECN side of LiteFinance valuable.

A final note from Nilüfer Hoca
For years in the market, I have been seeing this: the majority of traders are looking for a strategy, looking for a new indicator, looking for a new signal. But sometimes they overlook something much more fundamental — the conditions under which they trade.
Spread, commission, order execution, and trading freedom can be as important as the strategy you use. Especially if you are scalping, small costs add up over time.
Therefore, do not limit broker selection solely to the question "Is it reliable?". Ask "Is it suitable for my trading style?".
