When choosing a forex broker, you can find spreads, leverage, and minimum deposit on the broker's own website. The only number you cannot find is how long it takes for money to leave the account — and the vast majority of complaints stem from right there. Every broker writes “within minutes”; that sentence is not a comparison.
This article gathers that number from those who have actually withdrawn money. We have ranked the withdrawal times reported by more than 500 traders participating in the FXPARTNER survey, explained why each one is placed where it is, and what this ranking tells you and what it does not.
Ranking: withdrawal times reported by traders
Compiled on 9 September 2026, based on feedback from more than 500 traders — ranked by the time it takes for money to leave the account and reach the trader:
- –1. LiteFinance — instant, less than 1 second
- –2. Exness — 1-2 minutes
- –3. XM — 3-5 minutes
- –4. FxPro — 15-30 minutes
- –5. AvaTrade — 1 hour and above
This is not a measurement — read knowing what it is
This ranking is a summary of times reported to us by traders; we did not test brokers with a stopwatch. A withdrawal made by a trader over the weekend, the method used, or the verification status of their account affects the reported time. Nevertheless, more than 500 reports pointing in the same direction says much more than a single person's experience.
A broker not on the list is absent not because it is slow, but because there is not enough feedback about it. Five brokers received enough submissions to be ranked; for others, there is not yet enough data to draw a healthy conclusion.
Brokers one by one
LiteFinance (instant): Withdrawals are LiteFinance's strongest side. In crypto, after account verification is complete, the withdrawal request is processed instantly and the funds transfer to the wallet; with automatic withdrawals enabled on a verified account, up to 5,000 dollars per day can be withdrawn without waiting for manual approval.
Exness (1-2 minutes): Second in trader reports. A group holding FCA, CySEC, FSCA, and FSC (Mauritius) licences; we recommend checking which of these entities your account is connected to when opening an account.
XM (3-5 minutes): The time reported by traders is short, but XM's own declared processing window is more cautious: most requests are processed within 24 hours, e-wallet payments usually arrive the same day, while card and bank withdrawals can take 2-5 business days. XM does not charge withdrawal fees. The difference is largely due to the method: survey results predominantly reflect fast methods.
FxPro (15-30 minutes): Licensed by FCA, CySEC, FSCA, and SCB (Bahamas). In the middle tier of trader reports.
AvaTrade (1 hour and above): Licensed by Central Bank of Ireland, ASIC, FSCA, and ADGM. The broker with the longest reported time among the five — and that is precisely the topic of the next section.
Speed and safety are not the same thing
Looking at the ranking from a regulatory perspective, there is a striking pattern: LiteFinance, the fastest to process withdrawals, has the lightest regulation among the five — FSC (Mauritius) and SVG, which is merely a corporate registration. AvaTrade, which has the longest reported time, operates under some of the strongest oversight: Central Bank of Ireland and ASIC.
This is not a coincidence. Strict regulation means additional compliance checks, anti-money laundering reviews, and approval steps for every withdrawal; these extend the duration but increase the security of the funds. Light regulation, on the other hand, can mean faster payouts and a weaker safety net.
In other words, “fastest” and “safest” are different questions. Which one matters more to you depends on how much capital you trade with and how frequently you withdraw. You can also find the regulatory evaluation of each broker on their respective review pages.
What determines withdrawal speed?
The reason two traders report vastly different times with the same broker is usually one of the following five factors:
- –Method: Crypto withdrawals are almost always the fastest; bank transfers and card withdrawals depend on the bank's processing time and can take days.
- –Account verification (KYC): A withdrawal waits on an account where identity and address verification is incomplete. Finishing this step before the first deposit eliminates the biggest delay.
- –Same method rule: Most brokers send funds back to the method and currency they were deposited with. If you want a fast withdrawal, you need to deposit using that method as well.
- –Amount and limits: Automated withdrawals may have a daily upper limit; requests above this limit go to manual review.
- –Timing: The banking side does not work on weekends and public holidays; this extends the processing time for non-crypto methods.
Before making a large investment: a small withdrawal test
The most reliable way to understand a broker's withdrawal process is to try it yourself. Here is the sequence we recommend:
- –Open your account and complete verification before the first deposit.
- –Deposit a small amount using the method you plan to withdraw with.
- –Without trading or after a small trade, withdraw part of that amount and note the time taken.
- –If the time and fees are as you expected, gradually increase your capital.
This content is for general information purposes and is not investment advice. Leveraged transactions involve high risk and you could lose all of your deposited money. Withdrawal times may vary depending on the method, account status, and broker policy; always confirm current conditions on the broker's official website.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which forex broker has the fastest withdrawal?+
According to feedback from over 500 traders who participated in the FXPARTNER survey, the fastest withdrawal is reported at LiteFinance: on a verified account with crypto, a withdrawal request is processed instantly. It is followed by Exness (1-2 minutes) and XM (3-5 minutes). This is not a measurement, but a summary of trader reports.
How long does a withdrawal from a forex broker take?+
It varies depending on the broker and method. In trader reports, times range from instant to over 1 hour. Crypto withdrawals are usually completed within minutes, while bank transfers and card withdrawals can take several business days.
Why is withdrawing with crypto faster?+
Crypto transfers do not depend on the banking system's processing hours and intermediary banks; as soon as the broker approves the request, it is sent to the network. Bank transfers and card withdrawals, on the other hand, get caught in the bank's own processing time.
Does fast withdrawal mean the broker is reliable?+
No. Speed and security are different things. Strict regulation requires additional compliance checks on every withdrawal, which can extend the processing time; light regulation may mean faster payout but a weaker safety net. When evaluating a broker, withdrawal speed should be considered together with regulation.
Why is a withdrawal delayed?+
The most common reasons: incomplete account verification (KYC), attempting to withdraw using a method different from the deposit method, exceeding the automated withdrawal limit, and bank withdrawals made on weekends or holidays.
How was this ranking prepared?+
The ranking is a summary of withdrawal times reported by over 500 traders who participated in the FXPARTNER survey and was compiled on 9 September 2026. Brokers were not tested with a stopwatch. Only five brokers that received sufficient reports made it into the ranking; a broker not on the list is omitted not because it is slow, but because there is not enough data.
